Four members of the 2024 senior class have earned the right to be added to the Holdenville High School Athletic Hall of Fame ( HOF ). All four athletes have met the criteria that has been established by the school that sets the guidelines for the honor of being added to this elite group of athletes. Now, these four can attest that they have earned the honor of being the best of the best that have ever put on an athletic uniform of a Holdenville Wolverine.

TORNADO LEAVES DEVASTATING DAMAGE BEHIND

As the EF-3 tornado ripped through Hughes County, the evening of April 27, 2024, it unleashed its fury on everything in its path for 34 miles. Homes were ripped from their foundations; trees were uprooted, and power lines were downed. The ferocity of the winds was such that even wellbuilt structures were no match, crumbling under the force of the storm.

IAN VILLARREAL

Ian “Big E” Villarreal is the son of Amanda Newman and Matthew Villarreal. He began attending Moss Schools his freshmen year. He has been active in Track, Academic Team, National Guard, BPA, Fish Club and Wes Watkins. He won 2nd Place at State in the Graphic Design competition, the Torch Award Ambassador, Perfect Attendance and Student of the Month. Ian credits his National Guard recruiter, Sgt. Blasengame, with helping him achieve his goals. His favorite subject is Personal Finance. He plans to be a professional graphic designer, a military sniper, and own many houses, which he will rent out to earn passive income. To achieve this, he will go to ECU and earn his associates of applied science for Graphic Design. He hopes to have about 3 kids and a loving wife. He does not intend to have pets, but if he does then he will be a Russian bear dog.

ALEX-TERRY PAIGE SUMMY

Alex-terry Paige Summy, also known as Allie or AllieKat is the daughter of Mary and Terry Summy. She has attended Moss Schools since first grade. Her activites include volunteering at her church. She attributes her mom and her pastor with helping her achieve her goals. English is her favorite subject, and she wants to get her CDA after high school.
